I met Sandee on a beach in southern Thailand in 1999. We fell in love, she moved here from Johannesburg 2 weeks later. Eventually we got married and raised 2 wonderful boys, Leo and Josh. We have always loved to cook and been running Cater Allt since 2009. I have worked as a chef for almost 40 years and also been making sushi since 1986, written 3 books about Japanese food and enjoying doing sushi schools. I have also been painting since childhood and I think art and cooking goes hand in hand. We both like uncomplicated food, it doesn’t have to be pretentious. Our boys has grown up with cooking and helped a lot in our business. Sandee also makes incredible desserts.
